Stanserhorn is a mountain in the Canton Nidwalden in Central Switzerland. It is the neighboring mountain of Mt Pilatus. Stanserhorn offers a spectacular 360 degree view of Switzerland and a fantastic way to go up with, the funicular and the open air cable car! To this day it is not as visited by international travelers as other Swiss mountains but easily plays in the same league.
Stanserhorn is an affordable mountain top in Switzerland and you don't need to have climbed Everest to find your way around the top. To ascend, you can either the the CabriO cable car or you can also hike. At the top, you will find a restaurant, a fantastic summit experience, some marmots and lots of wonderful views!
