The MT, from which most modern english OT bible translations is translated from, was written by the Masoretes. The Masoretes were modern day Pharisees which Jesus said were Satan's children. They invented a made up Hebrew text and used teachings from the Kabbalah (esoteric, occult teachings) to formulate the letters.
