Roast Turkey Recipe
Ingredients:
• Whole turkey (5-6 kg)
• Pack of bacon
• 1 block of butter
• 2 tablespoons sea salt flakes
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Turkey: Rub the turkey with salt, making sure to get under the skin. Slice the butter and place it on top of the turkey and under the skin, especially over the breast.
2. Wrap the Turkey: Wrap the turkey in parchment paper, then cover it completely with aluminum foil. Keep the turkey in a cool place overnight.
3. Bake the Turkey: Preheat the oven to 140°C (284°F). Bake the turkey for 6 hours.
4. Prepare the Bacon: While the turkey is baking, lay bacon strips on parchment paper as shown in the video.
5. Finish Baking: Remove the turkey from the oven, unwrap the foil and parchment paper, and place the bacon on top of the turkey. Increase the oven temperature to 180°C (356°F) and bake for an additional 45 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the turkey is golden brown.
