before i start teaching, I like to sit down with my students to #1, ground ourselves before diving deep into the class, and #2, to give insight on how I create a piece and where to draw from within. I like to give what I feel and allow everyone to tell their own stories and it's so beautiful to see a room of 400+ people across the world be so vulnerable and connect with something so meaningful to me. I never take any of this for granted and wanted to share a piece of what I spoke before starting this class.
(also, I got so inspired when I arrived in Bulgaria that I completely made of this piece the night before I taught it.)
