The Newly appointed police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi says over 800 drivers have been arrested due to lack of Driving permits while some have permits that donot correspond with the Vehicles they drive. In the past month of August over 200 people have perished due to road accidents on the masaka-Kampala high way.
