Virtual business mission of Ukrainian confectionery exporters to Kuwait on April 6, 2021. Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait Dr.Oleksandr Balanutsa and Ambassador of Kuwait to Ukraine Dr.Rashid Al-Adwani opened the Virtual event. The main speakers were Mr.Oleksandr Baldyniuk, Chairman of Association of Ukrainian confectionery producers “Ukrkondprom” (presentation of the industry and confectionery producers in Ukraine) and Mr.Faisal Ahmed Alrashidi, Head of Sea and Air-imports Food Department of Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.

The event was attended by more than 70 participants, mostly by Kuwaiti importers and Ukrainian sweets producers. The speakers provided answers to the participants’ questions.

At the result of the Virtual business mission it is planned to organize personal online B2B meetings between Ukrainian exporters (with the assistance of the Association “Ukrkondprom”) and potential importers in Kuwait.

This event took place in the framework of cooperation between the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait, Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Рада експортерів та інвесторів при МЗС України, the Association "Ukrkondprom" Асоціація "Укркондпром" and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
