* Physical attractiveness: While physical attractiveness is not the most important quality to look for in a spouse, it is still important to find someone who is physically attractive to you. This is because physical attraction can play a role in sexual intimacy and overall satisfaction in a marriage.


* Intellectual compatibility: It is also important to find someone who is intellectually compatible with you. This means that you should be able to have stimulating conversations with your spouse and that you should share similar interests.


* Shared goals and values: Finally, it is important to find someone who shares your goals and values. This means that you should be on the same page about things like family, career, and finances.
