In August 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and with socially-distanced restrictions in place around the UK, Elio Pace and his team organised an outdoor live performance of the award-winning ‘The Billy Joel Songbook’ in just three weeks!

This show took place in Mattersey, Nottinghamshire on Sunday, 30 August. Two hundred tickets for the show sold out in 18 minutes. A second show was added for the following day, Monday, 31 August.

These two shows would not have happened without the generosity of Steve and Juliet Piper who offered Elio and his band and crew the use of a field on their private property.

This video is edited together using audience footage taken on both nights and with the kind permission of the audience members who attended those two special shows.
