Neal Navani, MA, MRCP, MSc, PhD, Care Quality Improvement Department, Royal College of Physicians, London, UK, presents data from the annual National Lung Cancer Audit (NCLA) report, which analyzed data from patients diagnosed with lung cancer from 2019-2020. 1 year survival rates were at their highest in 2019, reflecting improvements in care, diagnosis and treatment. In 2020, the impact of the pandemic was seen, with less testing resulting in fewer reported incidences as well as less resection surgery being carried out. This interview took place at the 20th Annual British Thoracic Oncology Group (BTOG) Conference 2022.
