Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, New Mexico

Join us on scenic day trip hiking to the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, May 4, 2020. North of Silver City, NM.

Currently the visitor center is closed due to COVID-19 restrictions but the trail to the dwellings are open for hiking. The main cliff dwelling trail is not paved. The scenic drive from silver city is beautiful.
Passenger vehicles can make the drive from Silver City on Highway 15. If you are traveling with a trailer you will need to head East from Silver City to San Lorenzo and take highway 35 to 15.
