This year’s freebie from Native Instruments is Glaze - a Play Series instrument using vocal samples to create a variety of presets that are very useful for adding that human touch to your tracks. It excels in pads and soft leads but there are some decent bass sounds as well. I usually use it just to sprinkle some vocals on a beats but this time I made an entire track using just presets from Glaze - bass, pads, plucks, and only the bell-like sound and an a cappella sample came from elsewhere.
