Total: 1 hour
RECIPE:
150g (2/3 cup) butter
150g (2/3 cup) sugar
3 small eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
200g (1+1/2 cup) plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder (if using self rising flour skip this step)
pinch (1/8 tsp) salt
1 tbsp milk
Bake in a preheated oven at 170C / 340F / Gas mark 3
Place it on the middle rack, in the middle of the rack
Bake time: 40-45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean
(Every oven is different, cooking times may vary slightly, keep checking it every 5 minutes after 40 minutes of baking)
