1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 10 and 11 in private.
2. Consideration of the work of the Committee during the parliamentary year: The Committee will take evidence from—
Joe FitzPatrick, Minister for Parliamentary Business;
Paul Cackette, Deputy Solicitor and Head of Group 2, Scottish Government Legal Directorate, Scottish Government.
3. Bankruptcy (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider correspondence from the Scottish Government on the Bill.
4. Bankruptcy (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—
David Menzies, Director of Insolvency, Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS);
Rachel Grant, Member and former Chair of the R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals’ Scottish Technical Committee.
5. Bankruptcy (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the draft section 104 Order provided to the Committee and provisions relating to or touching on reserved matters which are restated in the Bill.
6. Bankruptcy (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the written evidence received on the Bill.
7. Instruments subject to affirmative procedure: The Committee will consider the following—
Microchipping of Dogs (Scotland) Regulations 2016 [draft].
8. Instruments not subject to any parliamentary procedure: The Committee will consider the following—
Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 10 and Saving Provision) Order 2015 (SSI 2015/406 (C.51));
Act of Sederunt (Rules of the Court of Session 1994 Amendment) (No. 4) (Protective Expenses Orders) 2015 (SSI 2015/408);
Prisoners (Control of Release) (Scotland) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2015 (SSI 2015/409 (C.52));
Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2015 (SSI 2015/411 (C.53));
Mental Health (Scotland) Act 2015 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2015 (SSI 2015/417 (C.54)).
9. Land Reform (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider correspondence from the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform in response to concerns that the Committee raised over a number of delegated powers within the Bill.
10. Burial and Cremation (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider further the delegated powers provisions in this Bill at Stage 1.
11. Consideration of the work of the Committee during the parliamentary year: The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.
12. Bankruptcy (Scotland) Bill (in private): The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.
