For the CPU in this build I selected the 6 core Ryzen 5 1600. This 6 core CPu boasts great overclocking performance, a low 65W TDP, and great performance when gaming, but also during game streaming or video editing. This chip is also great value making a superb fit for today’s INSANE $1200 Gaming PC!

The Deepcool Captain 360EX, in white, was the perfect fit for today’s gaming pc build. The 360mm radiator, with 3 included fans gives plenty of overclocking headroom for the EPIC 6-core Ryzen 5 1600 CPU. It also looks great in the process, not only fitting in well with this $1200 builds white colour scheme, but occupying the front of the case fully too!

For the motherboard in today’s 1440P Gaming PC Build I chose the ASUS STRIX B350-F Gaming. This ASUS Republic of Gamers motherboard looks sleek with a great design, whilst boasting RGB support, good overclocking features and dual channel memory support.

For the RAM I chose a 2 x 8GB kit of ADATA’s Spectrix DDR4. This RGB RAM lights up and syncs with the other components in today’s build seamlessly using ASUS Aura Sync! It also comes in at a fast speed, great design and good value price point for this $1200 gaming PC build!

For the hard drive in this build I opted for a 2TB Seagate Barracuda. With 2000GB of storage, a standard 3.5” size and a good reliability record it’s a great fit!

For the super fast storage in today’s build I opted for the Samsung 960 EVO M.2 drive, with 250GB of storage. Perfect as the C: drive (Windows) drive it boasts great speeds, through the motherboard’s M.2 slot and a sleek design!

For the case in this $1200 build I selected the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1060. This 6GB graphics card performs really well, and can be found at a decent price point if you do some shopping around.

The case in this build is from Bitfenix, and is a brand new entry into the market for them. With a price tag falling under $80, a superb design, with PSU shield and addressable RGB lights built into the front panel it’s a really great case bet! It also features a powered RGB hib which is a superb feature!

For the power supply a reliable, 80+ bronze certified unit from Cooler Master is all we need! The 650W output also gives plenty of headroom for upgrades!
