Best of Subir Sen is a collection of some rare Rabindra Sangeet or Tagore songs. Subir Sen is a very well known Rabindra Sangeet artist and the popular playback singer of his era. Singer Subir Sen, is known for his work in “Chhoti Bahen”. From the fifties till the eighties, Subir Sen had sung a number of hit Rabindra Sangeet or Tagore songs. He had also sung duets with Asha Bhonsle and Lata Mangeshkar. Some of his well-known songs include ‘Aa ja re nain dware’ from the Dev Anand-Waheeda Rehman starrer ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ (1961) and ‘Main rangeela pyar ka raahi’ in ‘Chhoti Bahan’. Subir Sen composed the music for a film called 'Midnight' produced and released in England in the '70s. Md. Rafi, Geeta Dutt, Asha Bhosle and Subir Sen himself sang some songs.
