JHS Pedals have in recent years have become renowned for rejuvenating long lost pedals from the archives and making them accessible and reliable for the modern day player. The Overdrive Preamp is not only an excellent example of this reanimation that JHS brings to the industry, but has recreated a what seemed to be an irretrievable model of the DOD Pedals line up. It is familiar in its feel but finds uniqueness in its texture and response to dynamics. The downward setting allows you to utilise the compressed nature that is well known amongst variations of this circuit while the upward position opens the dynamic range making rhythm playing a dream - you feel like you can always push it that little bit harder!
