The Regulator Relic Resonator Guitar
Legend has it that HG Wells based the design & look of his Time Machine on The Regulator guitar..... ..although this could in fact be bollocks!
This was a great fun build to do , the box was actually a brand new wine box which I cut down to a slim size and then gave it an old relic look using 4 different colours of wood stain! The cone and covers come care of Old Lowe from Texas. Oak neck with maple fretboard and a section of cigar box glued to the headstock. Brass T-shape volume and tone & bullet 3-way selector. Mini humbucker for the neck & Piezo fitted under the biscuit for the bridge.
