Title: Camp Coffee Series: French Press Coffee Bill Dube Cooks❤
Special Thanks to Frazier Douglass of Modern Tent Camping for getting me started on this project with the idea.
Shot entire clip using natural light, early morning in front of my house, as camping isn't allowed yet in San Diego.
So here's what you are going to see in this video. A few, okay probably lots of mistakes, but we did make French Press Coffee. I researched the history of French Presses, but for the sake of time did not make a recording. If you want one let me know in the meantime here are some links.

In my studies the stories vary and sounds like there may be some debate as to if french press comes from Italy or France. Hmmm Who knows for certain. That Vietnamese pot that I showed in the Pour Over/Drip section of our series is also hard to find the exact origins of.
When you look at the patents they are not that much different than the pot I used in this video except for material and simplicity.

Next week Hot Wrap UP and we announce the winner. Still LOADS TO LEARN.
YouTube Production notes:
1. Use a remote and shoot multiple shots even if you plan to sit at a table and do a demonstration like I did. (Needless to say I did this all in one take and then HOURS OF EDITING)
2. Sharpen the saw and learn your equipment first. I've been spending the last few weeks just learning my equipment while at the same time working to make these deadlines.
3. IMHO since I'm shooting YouTube and Amazon Reviews Primarily I need to set my standard frame size down to 1920x1080 which may make it easier to edit. We'll see.
4. Another stop camera every time you need to make any adjustment.
5. In the future just may let camera do focus as I'm having a bear of a time to get the focus. That said this is the thought for now. Saw a great video on YouTube about focus on Canon M50 camera and some tricks to use. (Saw them the day before the shoot.) Working on getting less fuzzy shots.
6. Next I need to make myself a check sheet, although one is forming in my head.
Thanks to all viewers and other YouTubers for help either by viewing mine and/or doing theirs as I love YouTube for finding out how to do things.
Will work on this more as I go. Still learning. Seriously as I said in the video if you have a question ask.
