The Demonstration farms are open to consumers, farmer colleagues, organic marketers and other interested groups. The farmers demonstrate organic farming, its quality, opportunities and challenges in a practical way. In addition, they also provide information on special production focuses and forms of marketing.
The network of demonstration farms for Organic Agriculture has existed since 2002, and currently consists of 242 organic farms. The farms are spread all over Germany.
The network of demonstration farms for organic farming is supported by the Federal Programme for Organic Agriculture and Other Forms of Sustainable Agriculture (BÖLN).
