Welcome to this video to witness mesmerizing views of Hallstatt and Dachstein, Austria. Even though i had high expectations from Hallstatt, this village completely blew my mind. It is clearly one of the most beautiful village in Europe. I was in Salznurg for three days, and i was wondering to make the best use of this visit and Hallstatt was in my mind for sure. I later found about the road trip from Hallstatt to Dachstein mountain which looked promising in internet although i was little unsure if i could cover all these places in one day. I took a train from Salzburg to Hallstatt and then a ferry ride to cross the lake to the village. This trip was super exciting for me as every second I got to witness amazing combination of mountains, snow, lake and villages. This place is highly recommended, if you love nature, hiking and mountains.
As the Hallstatt skywalk was closed in January, I decided to visit the Five fingers point at the Dachstein glacier, to sight the panaromic view of Hall lake and village. We took two cabel cars to reach all the way up to the Dachstein skii resort and then a hike of 30 minutes will reach you at the five fingers point.
