The Sony FDR X3000 has almost achieved cult status among many. It is almost a perfect vlog/action camera. You may ask yourself why?. For me, it's so simple that it always works. Easy to use and the image quality is very good.
This test is about sound quality and the Sony FDR X3000 is almost perfect there. But like all other action cameras, the wind is a challenge. But there are good solutions and they are cheap. So now I have bought the Rycote Windjammer and they reduce the wind a lot. It's not perfect in strong winds, but much better than without. And I was positively surprised, the sound is fully usable. In strong winds, they fail to block completely. But good enough. So I can definitely recommend them.
