Thailand is a beautiful country no matter where you go but KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK 🇹🇭 is by far THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN ALL OF THAILAND! And more specifically Cheow Lan Lake!
In this vlog we experience our first time to Cheow Lan Lake. Famous for it’s floating bungalows (which we loved) the lake is a 185 sq.km man-made lake, or resivoir, is located in Southern Thailand in the province of Surat Thani. In the middle of the world’s oldest rainforest it is inhabited by animals such as elephants, many species of monkey, and even tigers. Basically, if you can name an animal it most likely exists here.
The best part of this entire trip is we were the ONLY guests staying on the entire lake during our visit. Not an exaggeration, but rather facts given to us by the local Thai conservationist. How freakin incredible is that? It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we couldn’t have been more thankful.
From kayaking in the emerald green waters with massive prehistoric limestone cliffs jetting out everywhere, to cave hunting, to daytime and nighttime safaris, too spending the night in a floating bungalow we do it all in this vlog. Trust me, this is a MUST see for anyone planning to visit Khao Sok or just anyone who plans visiting Thailand!
