The threat of the coronavirus spreading is described as a compelling reason as to why the public needs to be apply precautionary measures with regards to health and hygiene. But with many in South Africa still using unacceptable toilets and with clean water still a struggle for part of the population, basic protective measures such as constant washing of hands may prove a challenge. The University of KwaZulu-Natal is hard at work creating an On-Campus Health 'War Room' to contribute to international efforts of fighting the deadly Coronavirus outbreak. Professor Mosa Moshabela, the Dean and Head of School for Nursing and Public Health at UKZN and Proffessor Lucille Blumberg from the National Institute of Communicable Diseases chat to SABC News on this.
