Minister for Environment, Conservation and Climate Change, Wera Mori has made a statement that the government should release funds for the Mt Sinivit Cyanide Residue Contamination Clean-up in East New Britain.
The aftermath of the Mining at Mt Sinivit is posing a greater threat to the environment and the people living around the area.
This came after a survey was conducted on the area a week ago.
