حضرت صفی الدین حقانی گاذرونی
The arrival of Islam in the Indian subcontinent began with the arrival of missionaries and traders. Muhammad bin Qasim conquered Sindh and Multan in 712 AD, but even before that, Muslims had sent several military campaigns. The propagation and promotion of Islam in the subcontinent is indebted to the Sufis, who were the first to make the Uch region their axis and center. Hazrat Safiuddin Haqqani Ghazruni holds the status of the first Sufi saint. Hazrat Safiuddin Haqqani Ghazruni gave the message of humanity, love, brotherhood, patience, trust and tolerance. Safiuddin Haqqani established the first Islamic university in the subcontinent in Uch Sharif, which came to be known as Jamia Ghazrunia or Firuzia University. It was on par with Al-Azhar University in Egypt. Students from Central Asia, Iran, Afghanistan and the entire subcontinent came to study at Jamia Ghazrunia, established by Safiuddin Haqqani Ghazruni. Jamia Ghazrouniyya was located at the present location of Government Degree College, Och Sharif. This video highlights the life, services and Jamia Ghazrouniyya of Hazrat Safiuddin Haqqani.
