Dal fry is another popular Indian dal or lentil recipe. A very simple and tasty Toor dal recipe seasoned with whole Indian spices and tempered with Desi Ghee or butter.
Dal fry or Dal tadka is the most famous dish served in Indian restaurants. It's so yummy that you can have for dinner on its own, although it's perfect if served with steamed rice or Indian bread (Roti).
The fresh tomatoes and coriander gives it a real freshness and lastly a pinch of Kashmiri saffron doubles the flavour and taste.
