From the very first time we met Karen Vaughn, we were impacted by her story and wanted a way to tell it so that as many people could see it.

This is not just a story of just of pain and loss, but of a bond between mother and son. Of sacrifice and overcoming adversity. And of pride in a country we’re fortunate enough to call home. We hope her story encourages you, like it does us.
