Here is some video I filmed of the U.S. Navy Helicopter squadron in which I was serving at the time, HS-9 "Sea Griffins", during flight operations aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in October & November of 1990 as we were transiting the Atlantic towards the Persian Gulf to join the Coalition forces massing for the beginning of the Gulf War. We were part of Carrier Air Wing 8 at the time and we were flying the SH-3H Sea King. This video brings back great memories of that deployment! Hope you enjoy it!
