Introduction to Oracle Database 19c: New Features & Benefits Webinar

Oracle Database 19c is the final, 'long term support' release of the Oracle Database 12c family of products (which includes Oracle Database 18c). This latest release of the world’s most popular database also introduces new functionality, providing customers with a multi-model enterprise-class database for all their typical use cases. Throughout this webinar, Barbara will introduce attendees to some of the new features available in Oracle 19c. During this live session, attendees will benefit from a short overview of Oracle’s Training on Demand curriculum and be given the opportunity to download additional documentation relevant to topics discussed.

Attendees will take away knowledge to enhance their use of the Oracle 19c Database. Through an understanding of changes within and new to data pump, flashback, Memoptimized Rowstore, Hybrid Partitioned Tables, diagnosability and sharding enhancements, the attendee will walk away with a logical toolset to start administering their Oracle Database 19c now and scale for the future.

Barbara has 30 years’ experience working with Oracle Databases starting with version 6 and up in the pharma, medical laboratory, and telecom industries. She graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and holds a Master of Science with a concentration in Oracle Database Technologies and Database Security. Barbara has taught Oracle technology classes at both undergraduate and graduate level. She has been an instructor for Oracle University for a total of 9 years and is lead instructor on many of the on-premises core courses.
