More BONUS content for you this weekend - today it’s a 5 pack break of 1995 Disney Premium Trading Cards, made by Skybox.

The packaging of this product is very reminiscent of another Skybox product from 1995: The E-Motion product that came out for basketball and baseball, but the packaging is where the similarities end.

This is an 80 card set featuring Disney’s history going back to their earliest animated shorts from the 1920’s. This is a beautifully designed set with gold foil borders and text. There are a couple of insert sets here: one is a 10 card set that highlights the early Disney villains, which looks a lot like Topps Finest with the peel-able protective layer, and the other is a 2-card holo-bossed set, which are basically holograms with an embossed color group shot on the front. We do find one insert in this break, so tune in to see what it is.

These packs were not cheap - I got 6 packs for $27 on eBay, which I think is a little overpriced, but appears to be the going rate on eBay these days - I guess because of all the PSA grading that is taking place. These were a fun break, but if I purchase more in the future, I’ll be looking to see if I can get these for less than $4 shipped per pack.
