Incumbent Andy Burnham has won re-election as Greater Manchester mayor. This means the Labour heavyweight will serve a third term in the post.
"I have never given anything less than my all to this job… and I promise to do so again," he says.
Mr Burnham picked up 63.4% of the vote whilst his Conservative rival Laura Evans won 10.4%.
