Presented by the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation, the 100th National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was another opportunity to experience the wonder of our national parks. First started in 1923 by President Calvin Coolidge, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden joined thousands of people in President’s Park to light the National Christmas Tree on November 30, 2022.
Hosted by LL Cool J, the show featured performances by Shania Twain, Yolanda Adams, Ariana DeBose, Andy Grammer, Joss Stone, and the Estefan Family. They were accompanied by “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band.
