Plymouth only built 374 Cuda convertibles in 1971. Only 17 had the big 440 V-8, and only five of those had the 4-speed manual transmission. It's one of three of that subset with the shaker hood.
The car was originally built for Super Stock racer David Wren, who replaced the factory engine with a Hemi V-8 and raced for about two years before retiring the car. Put a Hemi in it, wasn't raced as 440. Then he retired the car.
It didn't resurface until 1987, and reknown Mopar collector Tom Lembeck purchased the Cuda with only 11 miles on the odometer and set about giving it a proper restoration.
Now reverted back to factory-stock condition in exacting detail, this car has a date-correct replacement drivetrain.
It's a rare chance at not just one of the rarest muscle cars in the world, but with a unique known history.
