This is a vapor blaster I built over the Sunday and Monday of a long weekend, taking about 14 hours.
Everything I used for this build I had on hand. The ceramic nozzle is not something most would have lying around, but for a build like this you could just as well spin up a steel one for the same results.
I sound a bit out of breath in this video because I had the flu at the time of filming. I wasn't about to let that mess up a good long weekend.
Due to being short of time, the quality of build was not what it could have been for someone taking their time. But it is definitely a useable vapor blaster.
In future, I plan to detail the build concepts I have learned and used to build this unit. I will discuss what you need to look for in pumps, design concepts for correct slurry feed and agitation; as well as cabinet design basic principles. For now I want to upgrade my air supply, tidy out my workshop and upgrade the quality of my footage.
