InTheSnow review the Atomic Redster Q5 skis at the SIGB's ski test in Kuhtai March 2022.
Rob said this ski is aimed at more of a first time piste ski buyer, 76mm under foot, very easy to turn and very grippy. It's easy to turn, maybe slightly under steers at speed, but that's fine for earlier skiers £470 inc bindings it's great value.
It will give you a lot of confidence on piste, maybe not one for off piste :)
What Atomic says
The Atomic Redster Q5 is a fun, versatile ski that can handle any on-piste conditions with a smooth, confident ride.
The Atomic Redster Q5 is the place to start when considering a performance ski that can handle whatever the piste has in store. Multi Radius Sidecut and a generous 77mm waist combine to make the All-Condition Piste shape, the key behind the Redster Q5’s ability to make quick, snappy short radius turns as effortlessly as long flowing arcs across the slope in any snow conditions. The TI Powered laminate, Dura Cap Sidewall construction, and a high-grade wood core create a smooth, stable ski that is confident in any situation. Firm morning groomers are just as fun as tracked out slush in the afternoon. Whether you’re out to push yourself or take easy laps with friends the Redster Q5 has you covered.
