On September 20th, 2011 Mike Berkson and Tim Wambach graced the front page of the Chicago Tribune for the second time in their careers. It is no surprise that certain attention is placed when this happens. The guys were getting texts and calls from so many different people. What Mike and Tim did not expect was to get a call from a local national TV Show! That is exactly what happened! A producer from the Rosie show left Tim a message (the duo were actually rehearsing when the call came in!) about being a potential guest on the show. They were told to clear their schedules, because they needed to be ready at a moments notice. The dynamic duo were as excited as excited could be! A National TV Show! What a great way to promote their upcoming show!
This Webisode chronicles what happened after they got the initial call. We follow Mike and Tim as they go to the doctor, drive down memory lane, and just sit back and wait. Mike's Dad Denis, creates more than a few memorable moments in this Webisode.
The cool thing about this Webisode is that the guys take a stroll down memory lane and visit the school where Mike and Tim originally met. Pleasant Ridge Elementary School in Glenview, IL. This was the place that Tim saw Mike MC a talent show with his twin brother David. He saw a 12 year old boy entertain the crowd and a special friendship was formed. Who would have predicated that those 2 guys, living in two very different worlds, would go on and create a live stage show that has been seen by over 20,000 people, a relationship that would inspire and connect so many different people. It is the small events in life that can have the greatest impact. It is those chance meeting that can alter destiny or in this case, we feel that Mike and Tim were destined to be together.
It is also hard to believe that we have been doing Webisodes for ten weeks so far! Thank you all for your support and sharing the videos on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, we really, really appreciate it! We are hard at work in the laboratory of Handicap This Productions working on another great season to share with you. It will be all brand new content, never before seen, and our goal is to have season two ready in the Fall. We are thinking that the season two launch will be in October. Time will tell and we will keep you all posted!
