North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong-Un on November 22 warned of "most destructive" nuclear war. Kim Jong-Un accused the "aggressive" US policies for the recent flare-up of tensions globally. "Never before have the warring parties on the Korean peninsula faced such a dangerous and acute confrontation that it could escalate into the most destructive thermonuclear war," Kim said, according to the North Korean state media KCNA. Kim's expression of nuclear belligerence comes days after Russia's President Vladimir Putin, a close North Korea ally revised his country's nuclear doctrine amid escalating war in Ukraine.
