The 2016 G20 Summit has closed with the participants reporting productive meetings. Chinese President Xi Jinping reiterated to the press the five proposals he made during his opening speech of this year's summit. The President called for stronger international coordination in macroeconomics, innovation in growth patterns, and improved global economic governance. He also called for an open world economy, and the promotion of inclusive growth by implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
