The Vauxhall Astra 2016. A used car bargain. And Have They Improved as a Brand?
This is my first time back in a Vauxhall in a long time. Are they better than the used to be?
If any of you watched my previous video about all the cars I've owned to date you will have seen that I had a few Vauxhalls early on. And whilst I quite enjoyed them they were never the last word in driver engagement. As I got older invariably I moved away from Vauxhalls altogether and haven't driven one for quite some time.
Which is why I put this video together. After reminiscing about my Vauxhalls of years gone by I wanted to get my hands on a more recent car and see if they've moved things on at all.
Turns out the Astra is quite interesting.
And while I was at it wanted to see if they make a good used car proposition?
Vauxhalls, like a lot regular brands, have a tendency to haemorrhage cash early on. Whilst that might not be great if you buy the car new, it does make them a very interesting used car buy. So this is not just about my thoughts on Vauxhall and whether they've moved their game on but it's also about whether they make a pretty incredible used car bargain.
