CPL Racing's Civic Type R driven by Guy Chamberlain, having a frightening end to what was an excellent time.

The bonnet catches fail at 100+ mph and flips up the bonnet, smashing the windscreen in the process and disorientatng Guy in the process, causing what you see towards the end of the strip.

It was a worrying time up at the start line, not knowing the severity of the impact that came after, smashing into the wall.

Guy was ok and shaken, but the car was not fit to race in the final.
