The Art of Dying is an event and exhibition which seeks to raise awareness of death, dying and bereavement, taking place at the Whitworth Art Gallery on 11 May 2017 as part of the Dying Matters National Week between 8-14 May. The artwork on display has been created by people who have recently died or by their friends and family.

This video showcases how the use of art and craft is a powerful and effective way of addressing the issues faced by those in palliative care settings, and to help family and friends to manage feelings when faced with death, dying and bereavement.
