About Mundo Por Conocer:

The joy of the unexpected, the curiosity, mixed with the nostalgia for being far away from home.
Marcelo Woloski, Grammy winning percussionist for Snarky Puppy, Banda Magda and Sofia Ribeiro, is heavily influenced by Afro-Latin-american music - specially Brazilian, Peruvian, Cuban, Colombian and Argentinean music. After 10 years of being based in New York City playing and touring alongside different artists, Marcelo finally got to record his own music. Co-produced by great composer/arranger Magda Giannikou from Banda Magda, Mundo Por Conocer is full of images, and features colorful strings and horns arrangements performed by 27 world-class musicians from 10 different countries. These 12 tracks invite you on an emotional and multi-cultural ride piloted by a tasteful percussionist.
