I accidentally broke a vine off of my maranta so I'm propagating in water and I should have new roots in a few weeks. Marantas root so well in plain tap water but make sure you have a node. Sometimes I get a cutting that doesn't root and I call it a "dud" so I make sure to take a few cuttings just in case. Happy propagating!
