A year ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade, sparking anger, confusion, and a public health crisis. But, outrage turned into action, and we showed everyone — politicians, the media, pundits — that we would not stand for our rights being taken away.
When questions about abortion rights were taken directly to voters via referendums or ballot measures, they voted to keep or expand our rights every time. Abortion rights went six for six, and were undefeated at the polls.
