This is the fastest, easiest way I know of to beat Ludwig, the first boss of The Old Hunters DLC expansion on Bloodborne.

This easy method of killing Ludwig uses a Whirligig Saw buffed with Fire Paper and a Beast Blood Pellet. I chose to bring in the Summon Old Hunter Henriett which helps distracts Ludwig but also gives him a bonus health.

For best results stay to Ludwig's side or rear then press and hold the L2 attack to use the Whirligig Saw basically the way you would use a chain saw. This attack hits multiple times quickly boosting the attack multiplier you gain from the Beast Blood Pellet and also deteriorates Ludwig's poise. The damage piles up quickly and the entire fight lasts just over a minute.
