Dwayne Johnson’s heroic leading man, Raymond Gaines looks to be returning in a San Andreas sequel, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter. Johnson and New Line are developing a sequel after the original crossed $473 million internationally last year. New Line has hired Blacklist scribes Neil Widener and Gavin James to write the script, taking over for Carlton Cuse, Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore, who penned the first film. Much of the original team is expected to return for the second installment.
