Not been up to the fence since August so I thought id dedicate a morning.
Morning movements from 0900 till 12:15.
Started from the BBMF Hangar Fence and captured some ground movements featuring Refuelling, Aircraft Technicians to Pilots boarding their aircraft. At 05:05 A practice Quick Reaction Alert catches me off guard while transitioning from the BBMF Fence to the 07 end red and white barriers. As stated in the video, I was well aware that the Runway in use for the day was 07 so when I heard the howl of the first Typhoon I quickly made ready my Camera. I had an idea that a QRA was in progress which I found out a few moments later. The Callsigns for start were Rigid 11/12. Q1 was ZJ949. Unknown what aircraft Q2 was as I couldn't pick it up on radar for its whole sortie.
Once in location at the 07 End there was a lot of movement from 41/29/12 Squadron on the North (Silver Shed) Side. No movements from the south (HAS) side were seen.
ZK339 & ZK367 both 41 Squadron depart as a pair followed by unmarked ZK313. 29 Squadron depart next with ZK329, ZK431and ZK321 as (Triple 11/12) (and TYPH01) which the Station Commander was flying. 12 Squadron are up next for departure with ZK340, ZK311 and ZK338 (Warlord Flight). 29 Squadron back in with a pair of single performance departures from ZK380 (Twin Seat) and ZK309. Those were the final two departures of the morning. A Boeing 727 was observed tracking north in the Coningsby overhead. From here I am unsure the order of landings. I'm sure Q2 from the QRA had a XXX28 tail reg and somehow it fit into the 2x 29 Squadron Performance Departure flight at some point as an XXX28 returned with the other 2 as a 3 ship. (Q1 Returned later) The BAE Shuttle from BAE Warton arrived just before everything else decided to show up. From where I was located I couldn't get a proper visual on tail codes so I am unsure what order they returned. I retreated to the bank of the river Bain to capture the final landings.
