Got a scare this afternoon. I went out back to walk through the garden and found a baby possum on the patio laying on its side with its mouth open. I thought it was dead - until it moved. Guess this one learned early the lesson of playing possum!
This youngster is from the latest batch. I spotted its mother on the critter cam a few weeks ago with a pouch full of cuteness. Saw at least 3 tails hanging out of the pouch, so its siblings will probably show up sooner or later.
