Sometimes by mistake we can be a day or two late with a payment or overdraft a bank account. They will try to slam you with a ridiculous fee but you should fight for your money. UPDATE July 15th: Sure enough, a $25 late fee showed up on my credit card. I called Capital One, worked my way through the phone menu to a live support agent. Stated my case and they told me they will remove the late fee. I was surprised that I didn't even have to say much or be firm with them. So that is $89 total in BULLSHIT fees I had removed!
