The Korean War Memorial holds a special place in my heart because my grandfather fought in that war. He’s told me some stories over the years.
I had never really spent time at the Korean War Memorial until I shot this footage.
But now I might have to say it’s my favorite monument.
Being there at sunrise. Nobody else there. During a quiet morning. Seeing the detail in their faces.
You felt like you were there with them. You felt like they were there with you.
What an unbelievably moving experience.
Wanted to stitch together some of the extra footage from my previous America video. I really enjoyed putting this one together.
God Bless America and our veterans.
All footage was shot on a Canon Rebel SL3 with an 18-55mm IS STM Kit Lens and Feiyutech a1000 handheld gimbal.
Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
I learned my filmmaking skills from Parker Walbeck at Full Time Filmmaker.
Music in the video is Triumph from ProductionCrate.com
